The Challenge

At a large chemical enterprise in China's Hebei Province, a 50,000-ton-per-year polymer polyol production line was plagued by persistent quality issues caused by gel-like impurities in the high-temperature polymer melt. The existing filtration system suffered from low efficiency and required frequent production stoppages, severely constraining the plant's ability to maintain continuous, uninterrupted operations.


The Solution

YUBO Filtration provided the YGDF-D900-J self-cleaning filter, featuring high-temperature and high-pressure resistant stainless steel filter elements. The system effectively removes hard particles and gel-type contaminants from the polyol stream. Fully automated operation eliminates the need for frequent shutdowns to replace filter elements, significantly improving filtration efficiency and reducing annual equipment maintenance costs.

The Results

The filter incorporates a modular independent cartridge design, allowing individual replacement of damaged cartridges without affecting the entire system—substantially reducing spare parts inventory costs.


Following the deployment, the production line achieved:
